The workout today consisted of less than 2 miles total of running, with 4 different stops which consisted of 250 jump-rope skips, 100 push ups, 100 step-ups, 50 jumping lunges. At the end, you had to run backwards up a steep hill. It lasted for about 35 minutes and was definitely tough. Boy, what a sweat. I took a power nap at 6pm today and I know I'm going to sleep like a rock tonight. Crossfit Chattanooga hosts free Saturday workouts every weekend at 9am. I probably won't join (I'm pretty happy with my weekday workout regimen) but an occasional get-my-ass-outta-bed beating on Saturday may be beneficial...

Pooped but good.
Today was my first time trying Crossfit. If you've never heard of it, "CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide. The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience." -Crossfit.com.
